Last Updated: 09/26/2026

These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of the SAB Lab website and, where applicable, your requests for laboratory testing, environmental testing, compliance services, technical consultancy, and related services.

By using this website or requesting services from SAB Labs, you agree to these terms.

If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the website or submit a service request.

1. About SAB Labs

SAB Labs provides laboratory testing, environmental testing, chemical and compliance testing, material testing, and technical consultancy services.

Our services may cover areas such as:

  • Textile and garment testing
  • Fabric and yarn testing
  • Chemical and RSL testing
  • Environmental and water testing
  • Leather and footwear testing
  • Packaging and material testing
  • Polymer and industrial material testing
  • Seed and agricultural testing
  • Laboratory and compliance consultancy

The availability of a specific test depends on the applicable technical scope, testing method, laboratory capability, sample requirements, and agreed service.

2. Website Information

We make reasonable efforts to keep information on this website accurate and useful.

However, website content may change as our services, testing capabilities, standards, and technical requirements change.

Information published on the website is provided for general information. It does not automatically constitute a quotation, testing agreement, certification, regulatory approval, or guarantee of compliance.

The applicable service scope will be confirmed through the relevant quotation, service request, agreement, or other written communication.

3. Requesting Laboratory Services

Before testing begins, customers should provide accurate information about their requirements.

This may include:

  • Type of sample
  • Product or material
  • Required test
  • Applicable standard
  • Buyer requirement
  • Intended market
  • Required reporting format
  • Other technical specifications

If additional information is needed, SAB Labs may contact the customer before proceeding.

4. Sample Submission

Customers are responsible for submitting samples that are properly identified, packaged, and suitable for the requested testing.

A sample may be unsuitable for testing if it is:

  • Insufficient in quantity
  • Damaged
  • Contaminated
  • Incorrectly identified
  • Improperly packaged
  • Inconsistent with the agreed testing requirement

If a sample cannot be tested as requested, SAB Labs may contact the customer to discuss the available options.

5. Testing and Test Methods

Testing is performed according to the method and scope agreed for the particular service.

Depending on the requirement, testing may use recognized standards or methods such as applicable ISO, ASTM, AATCC, EN, IEC, ZDHC, or customer-specific requirements.

The applicable test method should be confirmed before testing where a specific buyer, regulatory, or technical requirement applies.

6. Accreditation and Technical Scope

SAB Labs may provide services under its applicable laboratory accreditation and technical scope.

However, not every service, test, method, or parameter listed on the website should automatically be treated as accredited.

Customers who require an accredited test should confirm that the specific test and method are included within the applicable accreditation scope before placing an order.

Where a buyer, regulator, brand, or certification organization requires testing from a particular approved laboratory, the customer is responsible for confirming the applicable acceptance requirements.

7. Test Reports

Test reports are prepared based on the sample received and the testing performed under the agreed scope.

A test result applies to the sample tested under the stated conditions.

A test report should not automatically be treated as a guarantee that:

  • An entire production batch will have the same result
  • Future production will have the same result
  • A shipment will be accepted by a buyer
  • A product will meet requirements outside the tested parameters
  • A regulator or certification organization will approve a product
  • Every buyer or market will accept the report

Customers are responsible for confirming the testing requirements that apply to their products and transactions.

8. Report Review and Corrections

Customers should review their test reports after receiving them.

If a customer identifies a possible reporting error, incorrect sample information, or other issue, they should contact SAB Labs promptly.

Any correction, clarification, additional testing, or re-testing will be reviewed according to the nature of the issue and the applicable laboratory procedure.

9. Quotations and Pricing

Testing prices depend on the service and requirements involved.

Factors may include:

  • Test parameters
  • Number of samples
  • Testing method
  • Sample preparation
  • Required standard
  • Turnaround requirements
  • Additional technical work
  • Special reporting requirements

A quotation may include its own validity period, payment terms, taxes, sample requirements, and other conditions.

The final commercial terms will be based on the quotation or written agreement accepted by the customer.

10. Turnaround Time

Any turnaround time provided by SAB Labs is an estimate unless a specific deadline has been formally agreed in writing.

Testing may take longer because of:

  • Sample condition
  • Additional testing requirements
  • Technical verification
  • Equipment availability
  • Re-testing
  • Customer delays
  • Unforeseen operational circumstances

Where available, urgent testing arrangements may be agreed separately.

11. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information
  • Submitting suitable samples
  • Correctly identifying samples
  • Communicating buyer requirements
  • Providing relevant technical documents when requested
  • Following sample submission instructions
  • Reviewing test reports
  • Informing SAB Labs about relevant special requirements

SAB Labs is not responsible for errors resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information supplied by the customer.

12. Confidentiality and Customer Information

Customer information and technical information will be handled according to applicable confidentiality obligations, laboratory procedures, contracts, accreditation requirements, and applicable law.

Customers should communicate any specific contractual confidentiality requirements before submitting confidential information.

13. Samples After Testing

Samples may be retained, returned, or disposed of according to the applicable laboratory procedure and the nature of the testing service.

If a customer requires the return or special handling of a sample, this should be discussed with SAB Labs before testing where possible.
